Samvel Manukian founded Samvel Studios in the summer of 2006. While this brand is new Samvel himself been involved in the jewelry industry for many years. He first discovered his passion for jewelry making as a teenager growing up in the Soviet Armenia known for its fine craftsmanship through the use of old traditions. After entering National Academy of fine art his interests shifted towards design and upon graduation he became at first a designer and soon after an art director of one of the top Armenian design and advertising agencies. In 1989 Samvel and his team won a prestigious International design competition geld in Vilnius.
In the early 1990 Samvel immigrated with his family to the US and settled in Los Angeles. There he starts as a designer for a fine jewelry manufacture where he rediscovers his passion for jewelry craft. In 1995 Samvel opens 3D SM a manufacturing company dedicating to production of high end silver jewelry. For years he collaborates with several design houses such as Star Knights and King Baby. His desire for self-expression leads him to start his own line. Samvel's dedication to the art of jewelry making and exceptional, original designs define his line as one of the hottest new collections.

Sterling silver handmade "BLUE BIRD" bracelet is composed of separate alternating links and finished off with Samvel's unique buckle type closure. Every link on this bracelet has one large faceted blue topaz stone in the center and smaller oval stone in the center of mid-link. Bracelet comes in all sizes. 22mm wide and weights 85 grams.
