| This is the first step on what has been done to the ring to get it ready for delivery to the cutsomer. This is my bulldog ring for an example. This step is the antiquing. They dip it in the antiquing liquid (smells like shit) which creates black over the whole ring. Any piece of bwl that has black anywhere on it is because of antiquing. This makes certain parts black and now onto the next step... |

| This next step is to remove all the black in the areas where it doesn't belong. They put it on a buffing wheel with wool steel and it cleans it very well. |
